While your Toyota is built to last and has an extensive warranty, the unexpected can happen. Protect your investment and have peace of mind with Toyota’s Extra Care Protection (ECP). There are two ECP plans to choose from, Gold and Platinum, to help lower your overall cost of ownership. Toyota ECP allows you to select the best option for you and your driving habits. Whether you lease or buy your new Toyota, you can select from 14 plans to suit your needs.
ECP GOLD
ECP Gold covers up to 17 comprehensive mechanical groups — from the cooling system to select high tech components — and comes with complimentary services. Read the brochure >
- For most new Toyota vehicles with 12 months/16,000 kilometre synthetic oil change intervals, receive the first three years or 48,000kms Maintenance Service Program as recommended by Toyota Canada.
- For vehicles (Toyota Yaris) with six months/8,000 kilometre oil change intervals, receive eight oil and filter services and one tire rotation at no extra cost.
- ECP Gold offers 14 levels of coverage, from 36 months or 80,000 kilometres to 84 months or 200,000 kilometres (whichever comes first).
ECP PLATINUM
ECP Platinum is the most transparent and comprehensive coverage available for your new vehicle. The complimentary services and benefits you receive are even more extensive than the Gold Plan. Read the brochure >

Get Extra Care Roadside when you add an ECP Plan
Every Toyota ECP comes with a $0 Deductible, and guarantees that genuine Toyota parts are used in every repair. You are also covered with full member benefits that rival more expensive subscription based programs. Each ECP comes with built in Trip Interruption Service, Tire Road Hazard Protection, Vehicle Rental Coverage and Travel Planning Service. Also, all of this great coverage transfers to anyone driving your Toyota!
ECP Tire Road Hazard Coverage
ECP also offers tire road hazard coverage of original equipment tires damaged by road hazards. This applies to 100% coverage of parts, labour, installation, balancing, and all applicable taxes.
ECP Vehicle Rental Assistance
ECP also provides vehicle rental assistance for a maximum of five days, if your vehicle must remain at our dealership overnight due to a warrantable condition requiring longer than eight hours to repair, plus an additional five days if parts are back-ordered, up to $400.
ECP Worry-Free Motoring
ECP also protects against the rising cost of vehicle repairs and can help to increase the resale value of your Toyota down the road. ECP is fully transferable to a new owner if you choose to sell your Toyota during the term of your plan, adding to the value of your vehicle at the time of sale.
